I spent twenty years working as a youth and community worker in London. In my varying roles I had contact with education, social care and mental health services. Later in my working life I chose to become a counselling psychotherapist to provide therapy to those who where finding it difficult to access services. I had an excellent two year placement at a GP surgery and after my graduation I went into private practice and worked for a number of employment assistance programs.
I have gained my BACP accredited status in which I was assessed and demonstrated that my practice has met the higher standard as a competent, ethical and independent practitioner.
